Description

This is a galaxy field in LEO around the Galactic Horseshoe taken with the Sharpstar Astrograph. I work parallel with the C11 to get a proper picture about the Galactic Horseshoe which looks nice on Hubble pictures but has only a diameter of 10 arcsec in total.

In this picture put the cursor in the bigger picture to position 11h48min 33" and 19deg30min05" to find the small light patch just under the line of 19deg30min and a bit left of PGC 1592625.

The biggest Galaxies (NGC Nr.) in the Fov do have a size of 2 arcmin, the majority of PGC is smaller than 0,5 arcmin!

To enjoy all the other galaxies in the field you really have to zoom in and lets cross fingers that with the C11 there will be a real picture about the Galactic Horseshoe!
