Description

Those amazing photos of PN were captured by my little Newtonian reflector, whose caliber is only 150 mm. My shooting environment is just the center of city (Porter level eight). Before my testing, I never imagine that these extremely small target can be photoed at this terrible condition, but the preview of them shocked me. So I take advantage of my spare time to capture them whenever weather is permitted. Review the 2021 that just passed, I shot a total of 17 subjects, they are:
Blue Snowball Nebula(NGC 7662), NGC 2440, Bow-Tie Nebula(NGC 40), Ghost of Jupiter(NGC 246), Eskimo Nebula(NGC 2392), Cleopatra's Eye(NGC 1535), NGC 2438, Cat's Eye Nebula(NGC 6543), The Saturn Nebula(NGC 7009), Owl Nebula(M 97), Crystal ball Nebula(NGC 1514), The Blinking Nebula(NGC 6826), The Oyster Nebula(NGC 1501), The Dumbbell Nebula(M 27), The Ring Nebula(M 57), The Helix Nebula(NGC 7293), The Little Dumbbell Nebula(M 76)
[The picture order is from left to right; from top to bottom]
The majority of them were photoed with 10 s per frame, and 600 frames stacked. Some dark targets had longer exposure time, for example, NGC 1514 is 180 s per frame, and NGC 7293 is 300 s per frame.
