Description

NGC 891 (Caldwell 23) is an edge-on spiral galaxy, discovered by William Herschel on 6 October 1784. The galaxy is sometimes referred to as the 'Silver Sliver'. It is around 31 million light years away in the constellation of Andromeda.

The data for NGC 891 is from our dual TEC rig located at Olly Penrice's 'Les Granges' in Étoile-Saint-Cyrice. In addition we used Lum data that we had collected from home 3 years ago with our Skywatcher Esprit 120 and QSI 690 combination: NGC 891
