Imaged from the Sagrada Observatory, Las Cruces, New Mexico
Telescope:  24" f8 RC    CCD Camera:  FLI_PL-09000  Gen II Filters

Image data was:  32 x 300 seconds each RGB  unbinned 1x1   Combined in APP, further post processing in PixInsight and PhotoShopCC.  Original image cropped by about 75%.

Sh2-228 is an emission nebula in the constellation Auriga, located about 11,000 light years from Earth.  Within this nebula is a small compact, open star cluster.
