Description

I reconfigured my imaging gear so this is a throw away image to verify guiding and balance.

M2 is a globular cluster that lies about 47,000 ly’s away in the halo of the Milky Way and is approx 150 ly’s accross. Its actual position in the galactic halo places it in the southern galactic cap, almost directly beneath the southern pole of our Galaxy. There are approx 150,000 stars in the cluster.
