Description

The Veil Nebula, is actually in itself a very large remanant of a supernova explosion. The expanding cloud remains of a once massive star. 

Located in the constellation Cygnus and actually circular in shape, the visible portion of the nearby Cygnus Loop, the death story of a star 10,000 years ago! 

To the lower right NGC 6992 and to the upper left NGC 6995, imaged and processed starless, using Starnet software.
