Description

The 500,000 stars of the M5 globular cluster make this deep sky object one of the prettiest in the night sky! It has a sugary texture, peppered with red and blue stars. Found in the constellation of Serpens and estimated to be 165 light years across, starlight form its stars reach us across 25,000 light years of interstellar space.
