I started this project finding out something was wrong with my guiding, so I had a lot of subframes with elongated stars. During the sessions I learned how to use drift alignment tool of PHD2. It is definitely not perfect but better after it.
There is something wrong about the weight and balance on my rig I figured out.
I got an advice to have the telescope side heavier when the telescope points west after the meridian flip. But by accident I figured out it might be the opposite, maybe someone can tell me how it really needs to be ?
I have over 400 subs, I dismissed a bunch and still have over 300 used.
i could definitely dismiss even more, maybe I’ll give it another try.
i have difficulties bringing out the details in small objects like those galaxies, what’s the trick there ? Can someone maybe give me an advice how to ? Or a link to a helpsite ?
With some Morphological Transformation I also got the stars a little bit better in shape.
What do you think about the color ? Here on my phone it looks terrible, on my laptop instead it is okay.
