Description

NGC5921 is barred Spiral (Sb) galaxy located approximately 65 million LY in the constelaltion Serpens Caput.

This relatively small 4.8'x4.0'  galaxy has "no name" but I really think "Eye in the Sky" could be its name , tell me what you think ?

It was discovered by William Herschel on 1 May 1786. In February 2001 a type II supernova (SN 2001X) was discovered in NGC 5921
