Description

This has been a fun but annoying and expensive project! In an attempt to tidy up my wiring due to a snag on previous project, I decided to power my USB hub with the Pegasus pocket power box (without adjusting the voltage output!), which fried both the USB hub, the pocket power box and appears to have damaged the USB port to my mount. This has resulted in me having to use the hand controller - so no direct pc to mount connection, which is not ideal. I have ordered a cable, so am hoping this works and I do not need to replace anything in the mount.

Still learning how to play with the different filters (Combinations and weightings), but I must say, I definitively enjoy playing around with the data more than anything else - its interesting to see how you can really expose things with careful manipulation. I noticed that the relative strength of Oiii is significantly less than Ha to the extent that it was being overwhelmed, so decided to maintain the natural balance and not push the Oiii to get to the classic blue/cyan you often see. After playing around with the data I noticed a number of star clusters, this really is a beautiful object. I cant help but notice, but IC 1848 very much does look like a piglet laying on its back with its feet in the air - The Piglet Nebula
