Description

This was a rather difficult one to process. I think my first attempt was the best, and took many hours only to have the file lost.

Getting the dust lane to show, while also getting everything else happy was a challenge, and I know I can do better. Star color is good one some and weak on others. I had to watch that video again about RGB stars that gives Gary Imm a shout out, but my star masking abilities are still a work in progress, and I am tinkering with pixelmath to combine them, but seriously anything that has the word math in it causes me to run. Consequently, I think most of my stars are good except the really big ones. I also noticed, like the GM mentioned in his M102 description, it does appear the dust band has some warp possibly due to an interaction.

just tonight I got my Losmandy connected to the ethernet. Still having a few problems, like when I click the goto button nothing happens, but if I click the arrow it moves. I havent tried it in Prism yet but will tonight hopefully.

we still have clouds and will probably have clouds forever, but still trying to find ways to improve my game.

Oh an I bought the Optolong L enhance and it is awesome. I wanted to buy the Triad Ultra from Optcorp, but the last filter I bought from them was delivered with a smudge on it. Reading about filters on cloudy nights, I read the same thing happened to someone else. Optcorp continually pushes the envelope on honesty and integrity. Never had a good experience with them. Going to probably stick with Starizona for my future purchases. I think I like those guys, and I am a pretty loyal dude.

Clear Skies my friends.
