There are the Lynd's Dark Nebulae 1235, 546, and 1251, along with numbers 149 and 152 from Sydney van den Bergh's Catalog of Reflection Nebulae.
With my widefield setup, I originally framed LDN 1235. I was surprised to find that LDN 1251 can be imaged in the same frame. However, I was amazed by the Hydrogen-alpha's presence in vDB 152 and its surroundings. In the beginning, I was unable to locate the name and catalog number for this nebula and thought I had made a new discovery
Later, I realized the nebula is part of the vdB 152. It amazes me how much sky a simple refractor and color camera can capture from dark skies.
It's hard to image this target with a one-shot color (OSC) camera. This target was imaged for about 40 hours. However, because of wind and guiding errors, I have to reject half of my subs, and then another half due to clouds during the pre-processing stage. In the end, I had approximately ten hours of high-quality data. I am pleased with how it turned out.
