Description

This faint, highly inclined barred spiral is probably an outlying member of the M81/NGC2403 group. It features a long, narrow central bar and low surface brightness spiral arms.  It took me more than 6 hours at f/10 to get an acceptable luminosity picture of this faint, diffuse and very poorly defined object.
Angular diameter: 21.9'x7.2'
Radial velocity: 126 km/s
Distance: 7.2 mly
Diameter: 47000 ly.
