Description

Taken from Pila in the Aosta Valley Italy with my travel lens the ancient Canon 20-35 2.8. 30 seconds at 3200 iso. The coma may be awful but it's a great small, light weight and wide aperture zoom for general travel. Very surprised to find this site as bortle 4, massive difference in visible stars from my own bortle 5 skies.

Updated:

I since realised the original image was a 15 second exposure. The new version has a 30 second exposure star aligned in PixInsight and blended in Photoshop. It brings out a bit more detail and the California Nebular is visible - though may need hi-res image to spot at 20mm. Morphological Transformation was used on both images to try to reduce star size.
