Description

Imaged on nights of 2020/10/5, 2020/10/8, 2020/10/9, 2020/10/10

Abell 53 (pk040-00.1) is a rarely imaged planetary nebula in Aquila. This is the third image on Astrobin. Abell53 is exceptionally small, measuring only 0.5 arc minutes and has a magnitude listed at 15.5. But it appears much stronger to me than 15.5. It has such strong emissions of Ha and Oiii that my Original posted image is a pure RGB, with no enhancement whatsoever of the PN. I also took Ha and Oiii which is the HOO image B.

This is everything I could find on the web about this PN. Very obscure.
