Description

Imaged on nights of 2020/9/19, 2020/10/15, 2020/10/19

Abell 58 (PK037-05.1) is an almost never imaged planetary nebula in Aquila. This is the first image on Astrobin. Abell58 is very small and faint, measuring 0.7 arc minutes and has a magnitude listed at 17.4. It shows nothing on the RGB image. There is no significant Oiii signal. The Ha emission appears in the shape of a fat letter E, rather unusual.

The central blue progenitor star is clearly visible.

This is everything I could find on the web about this PN. Very obscure.
