Description

This is a SCREENSHOT of a single frame of a 5 minute video of the moon taking using my NexStar 8SE at f/6.3 with an ZWO ASI183MM without any filters. I imaged using native camera resolution (5496 x 3672) and 1x binning using SharpCap. The 5-minute .avi file size was 40+ GB and I was unable to process in Autostakkert due to file size.

I am sure my settings or imaging approach/strategy were incorrect. Is this a typical file size, or are people doing things differently -- e.g. imaging at lower resolution?? Any advice would be much appreciated!
