Description

NGC6960 “Veil Nebula” in SHO palette; subframes of 180″ recorded by ASI1600mm Pro on W.O. Redcat 51, mount EQM35 Pro, from 6 degrees Bortle scale suburban sky of Livorno city (IT).

In modern usage, the names Veil Nebula, Cirrus Nebula, and Filamentary Nebula generally refer to all the visible structure of a Supernova remnant, or even to the entire loop itself; this structure is so large that several NGC numbers were assigned to various arcs of the nebula.
