Description

The above photo is a composite stacked image. The composite image is based upon two images created from 2-minute videos taken using a Nikon d5600 and an 8-inch Ritchey-Chretien telescope. The first 2-minute video is used to provided the best picture of planets, Jupiter and Saturn. It was taken at resolution of 1080p, run at 30 fps, and set at an ISO of 200. The second 2-minute video was used to image the moons of Jupiter. It was taken at 1080p at 30 fps and an ISO of 6400. The visible moons are found to be Europa, Io, and Callisto (closest to farthest).
