Description

After using my small Newtonian a few nights I decided to bring out it's big mama again.

Just after setting all up and did the PA I found out that the mirror was shiftet and I have to collimate the whole system (in daylight). Bad luck and a hard lesson learned for me.

Anyhow I decided to do a little marathon this night and one of the targets was M64.

You can imagine that the result wasn't that good but I want to share it with you.

Again I used drizzel as an exercise to see if I can get a little more out of the data.

And indeed, the spiral arms coming out much clearer, but I think the difference in the core is not that big. Might be that post processing added or ruined things, too.

The final is only 17x60 secs and for the drizzel (revision B) I used 5x more subs.

Please decide by yourself if it turned out well.
