Description

C 10 is an irregular Dwarf galaxy in Cassiopeia. It has an HII nucleus, extensive active star forming regions, and is the only known starburst galaxy in the local group of galaxies. It is difficult to observe and study as it lies near the plane of the Milky Way and so is obscured by stars and dust.

I never liked the original version of this image so reprocessed it.
