Description

Sh2-173 is a faint emission nebula in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is in a HII region with strong Ha signal.  This region expands 77 light years across  and shows its light to use from 8800 years ago.  When I show it to my 8 year-old boy, he told me he saw a face.  If you pay clear attention, you will see a face mask 45 degree facing upper right corner. This is more obvious than ,many other subjects.
