Description

The BepiColombo spacecraft FlyBy caught my attention, it was going to be visible from my observatory. While going trough the ephemeris, I realized it would go right trough a field I had been imaging the week before.

The result is a rare image of the BepiColombo spacecraft during its FlyBy of Earth on its way to Mercury while it transited the Blue Horse-head Nebula IC4592.

The object itself is a very large reflection nebula in Scorpius, very dim. Some 400 LY away, it's bout 40 LY across
