Description

Once again, a supernova! And this time it is a bright one!

Even though it is not in a beautiful and bright host galaxy, it is easy to see and I find the field stunning. Unfortunately my FOV is a bit too small to bring two other beautiful galaxies into the frame, but all in all I like it very much. I didn't manage more exposure time as I wanted to test my new QHY with my new laptop, but it was like so often in our hobby: when the clouds are gone and everything seems prepared, something goes wrong ;-)

So I started late and had to sort out 1/3 of my subs because of clouds (and no time for flats).

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this mega-explosion and feel encouraged to shoot one yourself! This one might be a good start! Let me know about your results!
