Description

I wanted to try a newly acquired small catadioptric lens (90 euros...) of 300mm f/6.3.

This is a Maksutov build lens, so there is already lots of obstruction, but I also added a 2'' Astronomik UHC filter on the 62mm ring, therefore smaller than my entry pupil... so there is even more obstruction (losing about 2 additional stops).

That being said, it is very lightweight and has fit perfectly on the Skyguider pro with my Sony A99.

I have shot 240 images (on 13 of them there were some leaves of a tree on the lower right side of the image).

Then processed in Siril and Photoshop to raise the colors... I may try something later with a narrow band SII filter... But clouds are back.
