NGC 4236 is a relativly big galaxy in Draco. Beside the big size the surface brightness of the galaxy is very weak - 15,4 mag only!
The size is 21,9 x 7,2 arcmin and she is in a distance of 12 Mio Lj. The real size is 76.000 Lj and the galaxy belongs to the M81 group. The spiral arms are unusual blue, mainly at both end of the arms.
