I did try a lot this galaxy, NGC 3621, just before the weather turned miserable. We are now completing 4 months of bad conditions, 100% fully covered by clouds and a a lot of rain. So the seeing in march was turned very bad and, there were the last chances to get some imaging sessions. To improve this galaxy...only in a year time.
Anyway, I am becoming quite bored so, I did try to analyse the data anyway, throwing away more than 30% of the images, and the result is what it is...jajaja....

Description: I did not cut so much background and not so hard on stretching, so more of the core comes out. Of course, there is a compromise.

Title: New analysis of the same data

Description: This time I did apply NoiseXTerminator, Autocolor calibration, and gave me better results, with that, the bakground was pushed to darker tones (maybe too dark), and finally, star reduction using Bill Blanshan scripts.
I feel that the core is nicer now than before, more details came out.

Title: Better handling of stars but still with some issues.

Description: I use the Bill Blanshand for reducing a bit the stars and it looks better. Artefacts are in some bright stars but that will be for another go later.

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
