Description

The tip of the misty mountain BBW56 located within the Gum Nebula complex in the constellation Puppis. It's a faint H-alpha emission region that appears like a mountain rising up from the depths with these wisps of gas extending outwards that give the "mountains" a misty effect.
It's primarily a H-alpha nebula so a bicolor or SHO palette were not practical leaving HaRGB as the best option. With 32 hrs of H-alpha data, I was able to bring out a good amount of detail. Plus one nights worth of dark sky time for the RGB.

Title: BBW 56 (The Misty Mountain) in HaRGB

Description: Decided to revisit this target with fresh eyes and a few new tools too see if I could do a better job revealing the structures and taming the star field a bit more. This is what I came up with. Enjoy!
