Description

This 2nd iteration on the subject of the Shrimp PN tries to address various issues of the previous one, namely that most of the integration was make in H-alpha thus skewing the colour cast somewhat and, consequence to that, the nearly total absence of colour in the star field (except for the white dwarf source of the PN). Obviously here the field is much larger and thus including considerably more sky real estate. On the subject itslef I'm glad that I finally manage to "close the circle" so the further away portion of the envelope is dimly seen in the lower half. A very faint background galaxy can also be seen, which wasn't there in the previous image. Overall I'm far from being displeased with it, only regret is that I should have bought the L-eNhance filter sooner to capture more of the PN. Next time.
