Description

Back to imaging on the Refractor for a bit while I sort out some teething issues with my Meade ACF.

This is straight flatenner on the APM130/780 F6 LZOS.

I've imaged the Trifid before in OSC, and in LRGB and even in narrowand HOO (silly), so I thought I'd do LRGB but also noting there's a fair bit of background Ha that I would also do a couple hours on that (which I sorta needed as the Moon was being a pain...bad moon!).

This over a few nights trying to avoid worst of the moon as noted... really needs more Blue and L, but had enough for now and it's cloudy for a few nights.

Stacked in APP and processed in Startools...marvelous Narrowband Accent feature in Startools 1.8 that allowed me to drop in and tweak the Ha channel.

Tweaked to taste in starless form and re-adding stars in PS.
