Description

Inspired by Andy Campbell's Le Carnaval des Animaux here is my take on an amazing little field of nebulosity in a younger section of the LMC, far enough away from the Tarantula that it is rarely imaged. The little bubble of hydrogen and oxygen at the middle bottom is extremely faint and took a lot of processing to bring it up out of the noise floor. With only 10 hours of data so far I don't think I've done it justice yet. Hopefully over the coming month or months I can get enough data, hopefully I can grab some Sii as well.

I should also mention that on the nights I've imaged this the seeing was pretty rubbish, so it is soft.
