Description

The Heart Nebula is a bright emission nebula located 7,500 light years away from Earth in the Perseus arm of our Galaxy. It was discovered in 1787 by William Herschel.

This is my First Light image with the new QHY-600PH! I've been super impressed with it so far. The raw data so clean, with no sign of amp glow at all. The stars around the corners are a real challenge with this big frame and tiny pixels. I think it's right at the edge of what the FSQ-106 is capable of. I have a Gerd CTU which I need to tweak some more to perfect the corners. Critiques and comments are very welcome!

Description: A different flavor of processing. Less dramatic and vivid, but a more gentle touch, perhaps more natural looking.
