Description

This is a picture containing Ha OIII He signal. Typically, enthusiasts use HSO filters to capture narrow-band images, but for planetary nebulae, SII signal is minimal. HeII is an important emission line in planetary nebulae and is usually more abundant than SII. In M27, HeII is mainly concentrated in the central part of the nebula, and the blue M27 core can be obtained by using the signal of HeII as the blue channel. Meanwhile, using Ha as R channel and OIII as G channel, we can get a different M27 like a rainbow.
Information
Ha900s*14; OIII900s*17; HeII900s*40
Ha and OIII were taken with AG10 and FLI6303E at Lijiang Gemini Observatory, China. Hell was taken with 130APO and ONE in Yao'an, Yunnan Province, China.
