Description

This is the Rosette Nebula (NGC2246). The nebula is predominantly Hydrogen, though there is a glob of oxygen in the center that is faint enough that my camera couldn't detect it. The Rosette Nebula sat just above the glow of OKC to my South, which left a nasty orange gradient on the bottom of the image. I cropped in heavily to avoid fixing it.

The final image has about 7 hours of total integration time.
