Two of Jupiter's Moons

Technical card

Resolution: 1920x1440

Data source: Backyard

Description

This is an image of 2 Jovian moons that happened to be close enough to capture in one FOV. I do not know which moons these are. It surprised me that the moons came out much better than the planet! This is older data that I managed to download from my crashed hard drive and thought it worth saving. I used The C11Edge HD and a Celestron Skyris color camera (not sure which one--either the 236c or the 618c). If I remember correctly this was the best 20% of a 1,500 frame (or so) avi. I probably used a powermate as well (probably a 2x)
