Description

A bit too late in this "Milky Way season", but I didn't want to lose the opportunity to photograph this awesome area this summer. The well-known Ptolemy cluster (lower left), Butterfly cluster (slightly up from center) and the Lobster and Cat's Paw nebulas (lower right) are among the almost uncountable number of objects in this crowded region. But perhaps the more striking to me are the prominent, intriguing dark nebulas.
