Description

Another shot with the small TS72 Doublet Apo refractor.

About this object nicknamed the Rosetta. Using data from the Spitzer Space Telescope and the Chandra X-ray Observatory, it has been possible to trace the progression of star formation locally within cluster environments and globally within the cloud. The analysis suggests that star formation began throughout the complex around the same time. The age gradients in the cloud appear to be localized and any effect that the HII region has on the star formation history is secondary to that of the primordial collapse of the cloud.
