Description

The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) is host to a lot of interesting objects. Hence, I have been spending some time around this region recently and will continue to do so. In fact, I might try to add more Oiii data to this image during the new moon. There are about 10 identifiable DSOs in this frame.

One of them has me a bit puzzled...NGC 2029. According to Stellarium it is classified as a supernova remnant, but some scientific papers have it classified as a star cluster?
