Description

After three nights (about 2.75 hrs.) on the Pelican nebula while testing the Astronomik CLS filter, I tried to process the resulting shot on its own, only to discover that there must a much lower return on investment for this particular nebula - it was wispy and faint, and a lot of the surrounding area was brownish due to the underexposed red channel.

I was much happier, however, after creating a mosaic with my previous nights on the North America nebula, particularly after running the FITS through Siril's Photometric Colour Calibration (thanks @Daniel Erickson!) I would very much like to add more time to this image, but I'm about to have my DSLR modified so it hardly seems worth it, and it was starting to feel like I was hitting my head against a brick wall with 10-25% of my red pixels not even registering signal.

I processed this image, and then did some further deconvolution, de-noising and stretching using a starless image via Starnet++. It's a bit over-processed in places, but I wasn't working with much to begin with. At the very least, it will serve as a nice comparison when I'm able to produce something better someday
