Description

I found these Raw images on my PC hard drive while doing some cleaning. I had never elaborated them and I had just forgotten that I had taken this subject.

The image set was missing the Blue filter, if I remember correctly due to clouds or remote setup issues. Probably for this reason the photos ended up forgotten.

To create the LRGB image, however, I integrated the R and G images into Pixinsight making an average. I also tried an alternative way using Luminance and putting the following expression in PixelMath:

[(L-R) + (L-G)] + L

The results between the two methods are very similar to each other, however I chose to process with the first method only for very slight better noise management.
