Into the Soul nebula.
I always wanted to make a big mosaic, with allot of details in the dept.
And the Soul Nebula is one of those object that has allot of interesting areas.
I got lucky with good weather,so i gived it a shot.
To bad one panel didnt match well for some reason, maybe the camera got shifted.
The amount of data is huge ..27 Gig.
First i stacked it all at once, wich cost me a whole day.
But the bad panel made allot of distorsions,so then i stacked it panel by panel.
In pixinsight i used GradientMergeMosaic tool wich is a great tool for large mosaics.
After that i did NRGB,Ha as Luminance, but got some artifacts around stars.
Convolution did help a little.
Im now still thinking to make a new without a luminance layer, see how it goes.
But i really like the Azure blue color.
At the end its about 36 hour of data..so for now i move on to other projects.
Well i hope you like it.
greetings..John
Well hope you like is all
