Description

The Helix Nebula, (NGC 7293), is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Aquarius. It has nothing to do with a planet. It is the remnant of a dying star at the center. It is throwing off shells of ionized gas in its final death throws. It is approximately 700 light-years from Earth.

I used my Lumicon Deep Sky Filter (4 Narrowband Pass Filter - Ha, Hb, OIII and SII) as my LUM for more detail.   Clear Skies!
