Description

I found it interesting to create a mosaic in which we find two emblematic craters, Eratosthenes on the left and Copernicus on the right.
The image shows Erastothenes emerging from the Apennine Mountains (Montes Apenninus), an area here very dark and disturbing, to open on Copernicus in full light.
There is like a symbol, between this Greek astronomer, true forerunner, who establishes the first measure of the circumference of the Earth and Nicolas Copernicus famous Polish astronomer who centuries later brought humanity into scientific reason with heliocentrism.
