Description

This is a 4 hour Luminance only integration of Abell 2218 in Draco. This galaxy cluster is famous for the gravitational lensing that is visible in the Hubble Space Telescope image.

Collimation was a bit off unfortunately, but the three brightest parts of the lensing are already faintly visble (at full resolution) around PGC140648. (even better in Version C)

I want to try this again when the telescope is in perfect condition and when the seeing is good.

Version C is a resampled and registered comparison with the famous Hubble Space Telescope image

A time lapse of the observing session
