Description

An astronomy club friend challenged a few of us to image the shock wave in Cygnus. This shock wave is caused by the Black Hole associated with the Cygnus X-1 Xray source.

The wave is very faint and is the blue arc at the top of the image. It took a very long exposure to enable it to show.

88x300 sec SII

150x300 sec OIII

185x300 sec Ha

Total exposure time 35.25 hours

50 each flats, darks and bias
