Description

Another challenging exercise for the LX200 10" at f/10 (f=2500 mm). This small galaxy (1.9'x1.6') is located 216 mly away. It was observed for the first time by Sir William Herschel on 19 October 1784 and he described it as "Extremely faint, very small, stellar. Verified 240 (magnification) with difficuty".
Other small galaxies are visible in the field.
