Description

This Inukshuk is 12 feet tall and lives next door to me on my mountain home in BC, Canada.

Traditionally, they were used by the Inuit in the north as directional markers

Today the inukshuk is used predominantly as a landmark. They can be found scattered across the frozen land. An inukshuk can be spotted from miles away and seasoned travelers can use the inukshuiit as navigational aids.

Inukshuk has been transformed into a symbol of hope and friendship that transcends borders to reach people all over the world.

This photo is from 120 frames of 20 second exposures.
