Description

I am not really a comet specialist, but inspired by the hype for this popular object in the media, I tried it. Normally doing only deep sky objects, it took me HOURS to fix that pic. As I saw that the comet was passing by a reflection nebula (VDB 31, the little blue flare around the star in the left upper corner) and some dust clouds (Barnard 26-28) at the moment of my exposure, I took up the challenge to process the deep sky background and the comet completely separately and put them together only in the final steps of my processing. shot in Waidhofen/Thaya (Austria)
