Description

Abell 20 (PK214+7.1) is an almost never imaged planetary nebula in Canis minor. This is only the second image on Astrobin. Abell20 is small , measuring 1.1 arc minutes and has a magnitude listed at 14.3 which is very bright for an Abell PN. It shows well on the RGB image. The Oiii signal is much stronger than the Ha, and the Oiii forms a perfect circular ring around the center which has fairly equal signal for both Oiii and Ha.

A prominent blue progenitor star is visible in the very center.

This is everything I could find on the web about this PN. Very obscure.
