Ladies and gentlemen of the night,

today  let me present you my best picture of Jupiter I ever did. It’s with an acquisition of 2021 that I didn’t finish processing as I wanted to use WinJupOS but didn’t find time for it. It was not a so bad idea to wait as the result is not so bad even if I hope to be able to get something better … maybe this year.

I added an animated gif to show some steps toward the final result. I used 2 cameras: a color one, the ASI 224, MC and a mono the QHY 290. Unfortunately instead of starting with a color movie and then mono movies and then again a color, I shoot only one color in the middle. So I had very little choice regarding the time of the final image that I took as the closest mono from the color.

The processing has been done with AS3! with 10% for each movie, then AstroSurface with a Deconvolution LRichardson-Lucy then Wavelets then derotation of images in WinJupOS and color recombination in AstroSurface

aujourd’hui, je continue de chercher dans mon grenier ou j’ai trouvé ma seule acquisition de 2021 de Jupiter que je n’avais pas fini de traiter car je voulait utilise WinJupOS et que je n’ai pas trouvé le temps. J’ai bien fait d’attendre car le résultat me convient même si j’espère faire encore mieux et peut-être cette année.

J’ai ajouté un petit gif animv pour montrer les différentes étapes pour arrive a l’image finale. J’ai utilise 2 cameras l’ASI 224 MC et une mono la QHY 290. Malheureusement au lieu de commencer et finir avec un film couleur et faire le reste avec la mono qui a des pixels plus petits et une résolution plus proche de échantillonnage idéal avec le Mak.

Pour le traitement, empilement avec AS3! et 10% des images de chaque fils puis AstroSurface avec une déconvolution Richardson-Lucy et ensuite ondelettes, après dé-rotation d’images dans WinJupOS et recombinaison couleur dans Astrosurface.
